An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Key Stage 2 class. The Governors of our amazing, happy and successful school are looking to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated, enthusiastic and committed class teacher to join our staff with effect, as soon as possible, on a fixed term contract initially to 31 August 2018. We welcome applications from newly qualified and recently qualified teachers.
We require someone with a positive approach who can be creative, maximise the progress of all pupils, motivate learners, create a positive learning environment and adapt to new ideas and ways of working.
This is a small school, close to Ashbourne, in the beautiful Derbyshire Dales. We have the reputation of being a warm, friendly, creative school with a family atmosphere, which strives to inspire success in all our pupils, whatever their strengths. We enjoy close links with our village and church, we also have an enthusiastic PTFA. The governing body is very supportive of the school and there are currently 29 children on role, and have 20 children in Key Stage 2.
