£40,000 to £48,000 per annum

Serco holds a prestigious contract for the provision of critical soft facilities services to Barts Health NHS Trust. This compromises of 6 hospitals who deliver high quality compassionate care to the 2.5 million people of East London and beyond. Bart’s Health offers the full range of local hospital and community health services – from one of the biggest maternity services in the country, to end of life care at home, as well as specialist services that generate over £300m annual income. The Trust’s hospitals are home to world-renowned specialist centres, including cancer, cardiac and trauma and emergency care, as well as one of Britain’s biggest children’s hospitals. The Royal London is also the base of London’s Air Ambulance, one of the world’s leading pre-hospital medical services for victims of serious injury.

What is the opportunity?

We are recruiting for a Contact Centre Manager to lead on the operational delivery and performance of Serco’s Contact Centre. The Centre administers both Soft Facilities Management and Patient Transport Services contracts with Barts Health NHS Trust. This role will lead the delivery of these services, as well as developing and maintaining both internal and external stakeholder relationships required to ensure this delivery.

Over-seeing two teams of 25, you will be responsible for the teams achievement of SLA’s, managing their performance and striving for improvement across the contract. You will be the senior point of contact for all Contact Centre operational matters relating to the Soft FM and Patient Transport contracts; a visible leader demonstrating a positive can do attitude and ensuring a culture of high employee engagement.

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar leadership role
  • Exceptional relationship and communication skills
  • Good accountancy understanding with experience of managing financial KPI’s

This role will include travel across Barts hospital sites as well as other Serco and client sites.
