Job Title: Design Engineer
With strong demand for bespoke electro-hydraulic drive and control solutions, bringing precision movement to

Working within an integrated engineering team you will produce general assembly models and drawings from our engineer's concept layout brief and develop detailed manufacturing drawings for fabrications and hydraulic manifolds. With a busy order schedule, you must be able to demonstrate the ability to work both independently, and with a focus on the detail, share and exchange your ideas with the wider team to deliver expedient results.
You will need to be qualified to at least ONC level, or equivalent, in Mechanical Engineering.
Successful applicants must be conversant with AutoCAD including experience in 3D modelling, with experience in at least one of the following: -
Pipework, Fittings, Fabrications.
Design of Hydraulic Power Units and Assemblies.
Interpretation of Standards and the resulting assessment of the structural integrity of power unit frames
considering lifting and loading points using calculations or simulation - output from 3D CAD software.
The ideal candidate shall be able to demonstrate experience in the following: -
Fluid power pipework systems - constructional details.
Fabrication techniques / methods of manufacture - constructional details.
Fabrication rules associated with DNV (or similar approval) - appraisal typically to DNV2.7.1 / DNV2.7.3.
Selection of Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel material grades, sections and appropriate finishes; optimised to
match the specific application and environmental conditions advised by our engineering team.
