Care UK is a leading, innovative provider of health and social care services in the UK. The group has delivered strong organic and acquisitive growth over recent years with revenue in excess of £500m.
Care UK Residential Care Services (RCS) have over 115 homes in the UK and looking to expand up to another 20 in the next 5 years.
The Quality Development Manager will work across an agreed portfolio of homes, providing the Regional Director (RD) with a business partner support service to deliver targeted developments.
They will be a key member of the Quality and Governance Team providing professional input into agreeing and developing targeted national care and clinical strategies to develop and enhance the quality of care services we
Other duties include;
To lead, support and develop excellence in care with a core focus on delivering the dementia strategy, enhancements to the activities provision and targeted national care and clinical strategies.
To review clinical performance through the monthly clinical statistics and identify specific concerns or trends and provide clinical expertise and support to home based clinical teams to reduce risks and deliver the required improvements.
To work with the RD and Home Managers (HM) within your area to deliver sustained improvements in quality as reflected through improved Regulator ratings.
To work collaboratively with colleagues across all disciplines within Care UK and external agencies to develop and sustain best practice, role modelling our company values at all times and raising the profile of Care UK.
** Please note a drivers license with access to your own transport for this position due to the location of some of our homes. You will be aligned to the South region, areas to be discussed further **
Level 1 Registered Nurse with evidence of current NMC registration
Evidence of continuous professional development
Current clinical expertise in nursing with relevant specialist experience
Demonstrate knowledge of coaching and mentoring colleagues
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Good analytical and judgement skills
Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to plan allocate and evaluate own work
