They offer a diverse portfolio of products and services to their customers and are truly well-respected for their commitment to quality and customer service within their chosen sectors. They are now looking for a Technical Officer and Senior Technical Officer to help provide technical support to their Special Products and Electronics businesses to meet current and future needs. These businesses supply highly specialised and callibrated mixes of scientific gases for a wide spectrum of applications.
You will participate in the activities of the Technical Services team. This involves producing cylinder preparation & filling instructions, the design & approval of cylinder/package labels and production of safety data sheets (SDS) by using scientific data, the manipulation of spreadsheets and the use of thermodynamic and SDS software.
You will enjoy scientific challenges, the manipulation of data, performing calculations and working as part of a small focussed team. You will enjoy providing technical support to the business and our customers utilising appropriate communication skills.
You will have some work experience in a scientific/technical environment, demonstrating the capability for ongoing learning and professional development.
You will have a high level of scientific knowledge and aptitude, supported by a degree in chemistry or physics, exhibiting a high level of achievement and demonstrating numeracy and computer literacy.
You will be able to work effectively in a team and exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills, communicating with both colleagues and customers to support our ongoing business.
