We're looking for a senior international sales executive who will manage co-edition book sales across an agreed International territory with direct selling responsibility for these markets. The role will require sales targets to be met through growing existing accounts, and also opening new accounts in existing territories. The role will also require a good level of account management to ensure that adequate service levels are upheld. A role at Bonnier Publishing is an opportunity to be a part of a different story. What you’ll be doing: Maximise co-edition sales to publishers in agreed markets. Sales will be across the Igloobooks and Autumn Publishing range. Co-edition Sales is an effective way for Igloobooks to sell their content to publishers internationally. The international editions print at the same time as other foreign editions (hence ‘co-edition sales’) Help set budget and strategy for the designated markets, monitor progress against targets and ensure target are met and exceeded. Negotiation of prices, and schedules with customers in accordance with targeted margins and agreed parameters. Grow and expand existing customers and pursue new sales initiatives – opening up new accounts and new business streams. Ensure internal systems and processes are followed and maintained. Suggest new titles for Igloo publishing program following feedback from clients and previous experience The role will require a substantial amount of foreign travel. Candidate will need to be available to travel to bookfairs in Europe (twice per year) as well as visiting clients within the territory. Depending on final territory, this could be 6-10 International trips per year. Candidate will need to forward plan their strategy for the year to maximise sales across the territory. Build relationships with key buyers at relevant International Publishers, and also build relationships with internal colleagues.
