Where you’ll work
An excellent opportunity has arisen for
an Assistant Financial Accountant to join the Veolia Fixed Assets Finance Team
based in Cannock.
What you’ll do
will be required to ensure the accurate management of the UK Group’s
centralised asset processes including fixed assets, leases and capital
expenditure plus the reporting of Group fixed assets to a number of
stakeholders. You’ll ensure adherence to Finance policies, processes,
procedures and timetables
In the role, you’ll action all asset requests in an
accurate and timely manner, according to set SLA’s
In addition, you will take responsibility for physical
verification (rolling programme) of own contracts assets.
position will involve you owning Financial Accounting reporting for Group
consolidation tool (Vector Magnitude) and Financial Accounting reporting for UK
Statutory Accounts (IFRS).
will also be balance sheet reconciliation and justification for asset related
accounts activities for you to focus on.
What you’ll need to
We’re looking for
someone who is Part-Qualified - ACCA or CIMA
knowledge of SAP or dedicated Fixed
You’ll also need a good working knowledge of
Microsoft Office including Excel and G-Suite.
You’ll certainly be able to work unsupervised, in
an organised way, able to manage your own time and prioritise work, whilst
still being committed to delivering within set, stringent and demanding
Accuracy is key, as is an organised approach and
the ability to manage several simultaneous tasks.
Your strong inter-personal skills will be required
to enable you to liaise confidently with other parts of the business.
You’ll have an inquiring and analytical mind, and
be able to demonstrate good attention to detail
