An opportunity has arisen for the post of Administration Officer within the Dartford, Gravesend and Swanley Mental Health Team based in Dartford.
We are looking for excellent literacy, numeracy and computer skills, who can use a range of IT Systems to a high level. We require good interpersonal skills when communicating with the public, Service Users, Health and Social Care Professionals. You will be able prioritise workload and work to deadlines either on your own or as part of a team.
You will be required to organise Professional/Business/Safeguarding meetings involving a wide variety of staff and multi agencies, produce comprehensive minutes and documentation and follow up actions. You will be required to provide support within the Safeguarding process.
The successful candidate must be able to travel as meetings and various training is often held at different sites across the county of Kent.
Regular Supervision, support and training will be given to develop within the role.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
