Where you’ll work

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales professional who will Lead a Sales Team within the South Region and apply a strategic approach to sales management in line with Veolia’s national and regional goals . Has a proven track record in field sales and knowledge of B2B Sales ideally within the waste industry or service background.

This is a competitive region where there are fantastic opportunities for business to be won, Veolia have a fantastic service rate where we have our own facilities to support all commercial waste being collected.

What you’ll do

You will cover the South London territory, working out of our offices in Croydon. You will l ead the Sales Team to secure and develop existing contracts and new business. You will motivate, train and develop the Sales professionals to ensure awareness of goals, standards and KPIs alongside a high work ethic and competitive drive. You will exceed customer expectations by working closely with our customer support function and ensure that Customer First strategies are developed and maintained for customers along with ensuring accounts are successfully managed with profitability secured by developing strong, sustainable working relationships. You will adhere to all sales processes and correct completion of all paperwork.

Qualifications
About your Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications; · A proven track record in field sales and/or commercial activities is essential.
· Experience within Waste Management or another service industry is desirable
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Demonstrable success in leadership of a field based sales function
· Networking and negotiation skills.
· A self-starter
· IT literate
