What type of things will I do?
The team is working on a number of projects including our CPQ (configuration, pricing and quoting) system which integrates into Salesforce. There scope of this project is likely to shift to developing within the Salesforce community.
The team is also working on feature enhancing our Customer Portal, which utilises a SQL database and MVC architecture.
What skills will you learn?
We want your enthusiasm so you can learn and build upon your technical skills. The Gamma Development team use Microsoft SQL databases with .Net front ends. Previous experience of both these and integration into Salesforce would be desirable.
Desired technical skills:
Knowledge of C# development
Experience using version control, preferably GIT
Knowledge of databases and SQL, preferably T-SQL
Familiar with the modern web technology landscape
Experience in ASP.NET MVC
Familiar with software development principles and practices (SOLID, design patterns, Agile etc.)
Experience with or good understanding of SOA based architectures
Experience using a graphics package such as Photoshop
Experience in Unit Testing (NUnit, Moq or similar)
Knowledge of Responsive Design and appreciation of UX
Experience with integrating into Salesforce
Problem solving, taking ownership of tasks and grasping the bigger picture.
A good communicator with the ability to turn customer requirements into a functional specification and subsequently into a fully working solution.
Creative flair with great attention to detail.
