The unit is actively involved in research and also has an international reputation.As a Senior Staff Nurse based on Kent Ward you will support the Senior Sister/Ward Manager to ensure the provision of excellent nursing care and effective management of staff and resources implementing and supporting change.This is a varied, challenging and exciting role which encourages you to use a problem solving approach, develop your leadership skills and work closely with the multi- disciplinary team.You should be a registered general nurse with at least two years post registration experience and a minimum of one year experience in an acute hospital setting with neurology/ neurosciences/ acute medicine.We expect all our staff to share the values that are important to the Trust, being Excellent, Kind, Responsible & Respectful, and behave in a way that reflect these.
