18 hours per week (Wednesday – Friday)
Term time only (38 weeks) + two training days
Pay Scale H3 (Points 14-17)
Full-time equivalent salary £17,681 - £18,672 + £597 fringe allowance
Paid salary reflecting actual hours/weeks £7,439 - £7,842
Roundwood Park is a high achieving 11-18 school in Harpenden. The school carries an Outstanding
rating from Ofsted and enjoys an excellent reputation, both locally and nationally. We have a large
and expanding Sixth Form.
Our Library is a beautiful, well-equipped and popular space. We are seeking to appoint an
enthusiastic Library Assistant to support our Librarian in the further development of the Library as a
vibrant resource from which to support literacy, reading and research right across the school. We
have one Library Assistant presently, who works Mondays and Tuesday, and Wednesday morning,
and this vacancy is to cover Wednesday afternoon, Thursday, and Friday morning.
