Required for immediate start
13 hours per week – Term time only
Hours of work: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:45am to 12:00pm
A rare opportunity to join our wonderful team at Shepton Beauchamp Primary and St Mary & St Peter’s Primary School. We are a federation of two small supportive and friendly traditional Church of England village schools situated in beautiful South Somerset.
The post requires someone who is sympathetic to the needs of young children and our Christian values, is friendly, caring, enthusiastic and has a positive attitude. You will have good IT skills and be able to communicate efficiently with pupils, parents and external visitors. You will need to be friendly and have a professional telephone manner.
You will be working as part of a small office team and you will be required to work across the Federation at both school sites.
The post involves
- Being the ‘outward face’ of the schools, providing a welcome to all external visitors, pupils, staff and parents
- Ensuring prompt internal and external communication of information including emails.
- Answering of telephone and directing of calls and information promptly and in a welcoming manner.
- Managing the sign in and sign out of visitors, including the collection arrangements for children.
- You will also be managing the booking system for clubs, lunches, and uniform
- Other administrative duties as required
