Our Institutes programme is looking for a communicator to support ourCardiovascular, Haematology and Neurosciences Institutes. The post holder will work on creating communication materials designed to engage staff from across our partner organisations to form one-team models of working, ensuring we make the most of our collective strength in the interests of patients. The Institutes aim to deliver world-class care to our local population and to a wider network across the south of England, to improve outcomes and reduce inequality.
We’re looking for someone with excellent writing skills and strengths in creating a range of communications materials across multiple channels to engage staff with the Institutes programme, working effectively across multiple campuses. The post holder will be responsible for creating and editing content for websites and publications that is clear, taking complex information and turning it into relevant, easy-to-understand language.
The post holder will work closely with the Institute Programme Directors and members of their teams, the central King’s Health Partners communications team and the communications teams across the partnership, primarily at Guy’s and St Thomas’, King’s College Hospital and South London and the Maudsley NHS Foundation Trusts and King’s College London.
