Administration Officer Jobs Vacancy at Kent County Council Whitstable Jobs Details:

An opportunity has arisen to recruit an Administration Officer for the Canterbury & Coastal Business Support Team.

The post holder will provide administrative support to the Adult Social Care Team and assist in the smooth running of the service.

We are looking for someone who has excellent literacy, numeracy and computer skills who can use a range of IT systems to ensure a high level of data quality. You will also need good organisational and administrative skills to be able to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines.

You will need to be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team as well as professionally communicating with our clients, their representatives and other professionals by phone and e-mail.

Kent County Council is moving towards providing a service between 8 am – 8 pm, 7 days a week.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer facing position. The Council, therefore, has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
