TfGM oversees transport in Greater Manchester, delivering and improving transport services, facilities and information. We deliver high-profile, large-scale transport projects, and it’s our experts who provide the information and analysis to shape transport strategy. This is a busy and exciting time for us under the devolution agreement as transport plays a vital role in supporting growth and prosperity in the UK’s largest regional economy outside London.
As a Senior Stakeholder Engagement Officer you will work independently to manage TfGM's relationships with key stakeholders and community groups to protect and enhance the organisation's reputation and support its strategic objectives.
In this role you will identify relevant stakeholders, prioritise engagement opportunities, develop accurate information in formats appropriate to the audience, as well as analysing stakeholders’ views and producing reports to highlight trends. You will support project teams and their contractors to ensure all stakeholder events and materials are of a consistent high quality and provide advice on complex communications issues.
You will have significant experience of stakeholder and community engagement, outstanding verbal and written skills and the ability to develop compelling digital content. You will be enthusiastic and driven and be used to working to tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment. The salary range for this role is £33,201 to £37,369. Salary on appointment will be dependent upon your skills and experience.
