Public Health England (PHE) is an executive agency of the Department of Health providing; strategic leadership, research, advice and support for Government, local authorities and the NHS in protecting and improving the nation’s health.
A vacancy has arisen in the communications team for a content writer/editor in the publishing team. The post holder will join a small yet dedicated team and have responsibility for ensuring the information materials produced by the organisation are published on time and in the right formats, and meet quality assurance standards.
The role will most likely suit someone with experience in journalism, editing and editorial production, such as a sub-editor, who is looking for a more varied role. Experience of scientific, technical or medical publishing is advantageous, as is experience of working in digital publishing environments and using content management systems.
The team is based in Colindale, north London.
