The core task of this role is to register marriages and civil partnerships, carry out all related duties and responsibilities in compliance with the Registration Acts.
Conduct statutory and non-statutory ceremonies at registration offices, religious buildings and approved premises.
Advise members of the public and partners on all matters relating to the registration service
Deal with all registration corrections, respond to face to face, telephone, online or postal enquires and submit all weekly/quarterly returns within the stated timescales.

This post is a permanent, part time role, comprising a total of 416 annualised hours, spread flexibly over the year, according to business demand. The hours will be organised over a Friday, Saturday, Sunday work pattern to cover ceremonies at our Registration Offices and at Approved Premises and Churches across the Lancaster and Wyre area.
