Shift patterns (Opening hours 7.30am – 8.30pm)
£10.40 per hour (increasing to £10.70 after 6 months)
If you’re good with customers and cash management, this is an exciting opportunity to join the team at G4S Cash Solutions as a Customer Assistant in one of our new facilities.
G4S Cash Solutions are the UK’s largest cash collection and processing organisation and we have a reputation for innovation as well as security. Now we are looking for a confident individual – ideally with retail banking or retail customer services experience – to be the professional face of a new business initiative that puts easy-to-use cash management services within reach of small and medium sized high street businesses. Shifts will be flexible and will cover 7 days a week, between 8am to 8pm.
You will staff a small high street unit, welcoming customers and helping them to use the machines for deposits, balance enquiries, etc. Your responsibilities will also include basic maintenance, such as changing receipt rolls, and using a variety of cash management systems, as well as manually processing deposited cheques. Although some technical skills and cash processing experience would be preferred, you can expect in-depth training on cash management systems and machines.
This is a shift-based role offering the potential for flexible hours to fit in with your other commitments. What we are looking for, most importantly, is someone who is both focused on calm, helpful, personalised customer communication and also comfortable working, and occasionally problem-solving, by themselves in a secure, monitored environment.
In addition, you will need to be able to pass criminal record, personal credit and ID checks, with a checkable 5 year employment/unemployment/educational history.
