Pre Litigated Fee Earner Fraud Jobs Vacancy at Keoghs Liverpool Jobs Details:

Keoghs are seeking a Fee Earner to join our Pre Lit team in Liverpool.

The Fraud Fee Earner will run a reduced caseload of pre litigated cases on behalf of a cross section of insurance clients. The caseload will consist of a range of suspected fraudulent insurance claims consisting of the following types of claim:

RTA - Bogus Passenger Claims
RTA - Staged/Contrived
RTA - Fraudulent Exaggeration
Low Speed Impact

Key Accountabilities

It will be the responsibility of the Fraud Fee Earner to run fraud cases from the pre litigation investigation stage.

  • Responsibilities in case management include:

  • Detailed review and analysis of evidence throughout the life of the case

  • Running files in accordance with agreed client guidelines on a delegated fixed fee basis

  • Set and agree strategy on file, delegating tasks as appropriate to FEA to take forward

  • Legal Research

  • Liaising with the Underwriting Department at Insurers and Policy Interpretation

  • Liaise with policy holders and witnesses as necessary

  • Liaising with CRU

  • Liaising with clients / other insurers / third parties

  • Negotiate settlement

  • Attending Client meetings where required which includes the provision of training/workshops to clients as well as social entertaining

  • Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience of handling pre-litigated case load

  • Good advocacy skills

  • High level of analytical skills

  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to prioritise work, keep to deadlines and work under pressure

  • Ability to anticipate problems and identify solutions

  • Excellent IT Skills
