Newcastle & Stafford Colleges Group is financially one of the strongest of its kind in the country with very high success rates, amongst the top 10% nationally.
In November 2016 Newcastle-under-Lyme College merged with Stafford College to form the Newcastle & Stafford Colleges Group. The group is currently home to a population of over 5,000 full-time students and around 620 students on higher education programmes. We have over 2,000 part-time or adult learners and 2,000 apprentices where we work with over 800 individual employers.
Working with the Student Engagement Co-ordinator you will support with the planning and organising of a number of events with the support of the events team and the Student Services Team. You will be responsible for communicating the plans for the events to students, student services team, curriculum staff and other support staff across the Group.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Has previous youth, educational or recreational experience, ideally working in a support or advisory role
- Is able to build trust and a good rapport with young people while maintaining professional boundaries
- Holds a current First Aid Certificate or is willing to train to gain one.
- Skills including good communication, negotiation and time management.
