This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, proactive and impeccably well organised Administrator to play a vital role within an exciting research environment. You will play a pivotal role in providing administrative support to assist the BHF Regenerative Medicine Director/British Heart Foundation (BHF) Centre Administrator in the day-to-day administration, management, and smooth running of the Section. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a career in Higher Education administration.

The NHLI is one of the major departments undertaking heart and lung research worldwide. We continue to retain our position as a highly respected research centre carrying out research, development and education in cardiovascular and respiratory science. We achieve this through a powerful blend of top-notch academics, great facilities, effective teaching and productive collaborations.

Duties and responsibilities

The role also involves assisting with various administrative tasks related to the Centre Director’s additional role as Campus Director for Hammersmith and White City. The role will be varied and wide-ranging. Principal duties will include providing support in grant, publication, and diary management, travel arrangements, maintaining records and other administrative tasks.

Essential requirements

You will be required to demonstrate IT experience and self-sufficiency in software such as Office 365 and SharePoint. You will also to demonstrate the technical ability to navigate new online systems and attend training where required.
