St Helens & Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is the BEST acute Trusts in England for the second year running! We provide a full range of acute adult services to our local population of circa 350,000 and provide tertiary services across a much wider area in the North West, North Wales and Isle of Man. We are a Major Trauma Unit and the Mersey Regional Burns Unit.

The Administration Services Co-ordinator will manage administrative staff across Whiston and St Helens Hospitals, Personal Medical Secretaries, Medical Secretaries and Clerical Administrator. The successful candidate will provide an efficient and effective service to the Trust and ensure robust plans are in place to develop and improve the administrative role in line with new practices.
This demanding role will require excellent time management and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate must be able to prioritise their own workload and that of others and will require a flexible approach to their duties. They must be able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels within the organisation and be responsible and have extensive experience in ensuring optimum use of physical capacity throughout administration teams to deliver service needs.
The post holder should have equivalent experience to degree level and two years previous experience in a supervisory role. The post holder should also be motivated and pro-active in their role and able to work flexibly across both sites. Willing to meet the performance criteria set out in the job description and undertake personal and professional development.
