An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Support Officer to join the Assurance and Delivery Team in NHS England Kent Surrey & Sussex. The post holder will be a vital part of a dynamic team supporting the Director and managers across the Assurance and Delivery Directorate to ensure:

  • CCGs are effective commissioners, delivering the priorities and outcomes as described in the Mandate and the Five Year Forward View
  • There is effective co-ordination of the planning and assurance arrangements, including for local delivery of national strategic programmes
  • There is an effective emergency preparedness, resilience and response (EPRR) system.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual who will provide a high level, professional and confidential PA and business support function working both independently and as a team member. You will ensure the Director is fully briefed and prepared for all activities and be responsible for the smooth and effective maintenance of the administrative function and systems in conjunction with other members of the administration team. The role includes managing senior level meetings, including taking minutes when required and providing high quality support to a range of projects, services and initiatives, including analysis of information to support delivery.

This is a busy team, and you will enjoy working with flexibility, have the ability to multi-task, manage short deadlines and support others in a fast moving environment. You will have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, and strong written and verbal communications skills with a calm and professional manner.
