We have an exciting opportunity in Sport Sheffield (The University of Sheffield’s Sport Department) for a keen sport
professional to positively influence the student experience through sport.
In this varied and dynamic role you will be responsible for assisting the day-to-day delivery of programmes and programme
administration, this will include: ‘Social Sport’ sessions and Sports Leagues, Outreach and Charity events, Volunteering
projects and pay and play initiatives.
You will support the Sport Development Team to provide a high quality sporting experience via our participation
programmes and initiatives. As Sport Development Assistant you will be responsible for assisting the planning,
implementation and evaluation of our participation initiatives, working closely with our sport development officers and
through active engagement with our student groups.
You will have the ability to work well in a team environment, demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a genuine
commitment to continuous improvement.
