Customer Service Apprentice required to assist with the following duties:
To handle cash for deposits and withdrawals
Open new accounts, check form and relevant I.D.
Collect loan applications and check relevant paperwork
Assist Loan Officer to issue loans
Handle customer enquiries - both face to face and via telephone
Manual and electronic filing
Process incoming and outgoing mail
Issue prepaid cards, membership cards and pins
Provide information about Credit Union services to customers
Requirements and prospects
Demonstrate a sense of urgency around delivery of customers' needs
Respond quickly and accurately
Take ownership/accountability of issues
Be able to build a good understanding and relationship with members
Good written and verbal communications
Able to work independently and with others
Good time management skills
Pleasant telephone manner
Good timekeeping and attendance
Willing to commit to this apprenticeship
Respect and support the ideas of others
Calm under pressure
Demonstrate a professional and diplomatic demeanour
