Logistics & Supply Chain Senior Analyst
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Logistics & Supply Chain Senior Analyst performs a wide variety of tasks relating to the incoming and outgoing of materials, reagents, instruments or equipment to meet customer expectations which involve receiving, shipping, and inventory/material control. Performs manual and/or clerical duties that may utilise various systems / WMS involved in receipt or preparation of materials for shipment.
Performs a wide variety of projects (for example, Brexit Preparation), planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting tasks in support of the Supply Chain workflow. Coordinates and monitors workflow, assisting in scheduling and prioritizing activities in assigned distribution area.
Maintains compliance with ISO 9000, IATA, OSHA, DOT, FAA, FDA Guidelines.
- Works with occasional guidance in own area of responsibilities.
- Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects or activities within own work group.
- High focus on outbound management with special attention to on-time delivery (OTD) and quality (PPM).
- Monitor 3PL activities to direct customers, distributors and internal customers (warehouses and service engineers).
- Ensure development & maintenance of KPI’s to provide visibility and measure departments and individuals performance.
Integrate all relevant Danaher Business Systems (DBS) tools (DM, VM, VSM, 5S, PSP etc.) in daily work.
- Acts as an Interface between the 3PL warehouse and other internal departments (mainly Logistics, Customer Service and Transportation).
External communications with customers & transportation partners.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION
Supply Chain Education with at least 5 years’ of experience
Or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with 2+ years’ experience or Master’s degree in relevant field
Knowledge of Cold Chain Management, understanding of the IVD industry desirable
Strong computer skills (MS-Office, Oracle ERP)
Good communication skills
Ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks: analysis, judgments and flexibility
Team player and problem solver, able to work under pressure
Customer focused and service orientated
Job location is High Wycombe with frequent travel to visit 3PL warehouse
