The 6 Music Network team delivers the 6 Music Festival working in collaboration with the Popular Music Live Music & Events team and the 6M Music team. Alongside the programmed 6M Festival By day stages, the 6 Music radio schedule is populated with themed content, interviews and special programmes - as well as interactive content across social channels.
The planning phase starts in November 2018 for delivery in March 2019.
In this role you will help shape the content of the Festival, working to to the creative vision and strategy of the Network. You will contribute to the planning stages of the Festival's creation alongside the Network, Music and Live Music and Events team. You'll be required to book contributors for the 6M Festival By Day event as well as lead on research and briefing of the Festival contributors as well as the teams who will produce the broadcast events on the ground, ensuring governance and compliance across the Festival.
The Ideal Candidate
