We're looking for motivated, enthusiastic and committed individuals to provide an effective administrative support role to local Service Teams, such as Adult Care, Highways Department, Fire and Rescue, Legal Services and Children's Services.

We have positions based at Hartsholme and St Giles Family Centres and the work schedule will be 10.30-6.30pm and alternative Saturdays when required. Where Saturdays are worked a day off will be granted and the hours per week will still be 37 hours.
Your new role with us
Business Support at Lincolnshire County Council sits at the heart of every Service Lincolnshire County Council offer and we provide integral support services to both internal and external customers encompassing a wide variety of tasks
You will be providing excellent administrative support including
- Producing documents to a high standard of accuracy with attention to detail
- Producing minutes and documents to an high level of accuracy
- Undertaking a range of duties to meet Service Area needs
- Updating databases and information systems
- Reception duties
- Being the first point of call for colleagues and customers
What you'll need to be successful
We are looking for a candidate who has:
- Previous experience of providing administration support in a busy work environment
- First class customer service skills including a good telephone manner
- A range of transferrable skills including previous experience with Microsoft Office
- A flexible working style and ability to react to changing work environments or teams
- The ability to communicate effectively with other teams and agencies
- GCSEs or NVQ equivalent as detailed within our Job Description and be willing to undertake a professional qualification through our Apprenticeship scheme
You will also enjoy working as part of a friendly and busy team as well as being able to use your initiative. We work flexibly to meet the needs of Service and some of our roles therefore cover later hours and weekend working.
