Administrative and Clerical Officer, Band 2

Children and Young People’s Services – CAT (Central Administration Team)

Central Admin Team Bromley Health Visiting 0-4

Full-time, 5 days per week, 37.5 hours - operational hours of 09.00-17.00

Base: Memorial Hospital, SE18 3RG

The Central Admin Team provides a support for Bromley Health Visitors 0 - 4 Children.

We also provide some remote administration support for Health Visitors around their caseloads e.g. printing, sending out and uploading assessment reports and scanning documents onto RIO, and we provide on-site support at their bases locations.

This is a very demanding role and you must have stamina, focus, the ability to switch back and forth between tasks and excellent attention to detail.

As an administrator in the team you will be answering telephone calls from families, service users and health professionals, booking appointments, taking messages/dealing with queries, scanning documents and uploading them to the RIO system, sending out reports, photocopying, opening, sorting, scanning and distributing post, updating Excel spreadsheets, and carrying out routine office duties relating to client and team administration support, including minute taking.

Although the main office is based at the Memorial Hospital Shooters Hill, you will also be required to provide admin support at different base locations therefore you must be able to travel to the different base sites across Bromley, Orpington and Penge Borough.

The successful candidates will demonstrate:
