Faculty Ordinator South East Jobs Vacancy at The Open University Home Based Jobs Details:
This is an exciting opportunity to support the operational management of the Open University’s Health, Wellbeing and Social Care modules, qualifications and professional programmes.
With responsibility for managing and co-ordinating academic-related and administrative support activities, the Faculty Co-ordinator will facilitate the delivery of services to Health and Social Care students and to Associate Lecturers. You will be a member of a virtual team supporting lecturers and students across the UK. You will support the management of Associate Lecturers and the allocation of students to them. You will be responsible for arrangements for tutorials and day schools. You will be the first point of contact for students and Associate Lecturers in your curriculum areas.
You will have a degree or equivalent, experience of managing projects, and excellent organisational, communication, interpersonal and ICT skills. You should be able to demonstrate flexibility, high-level communication, team working and organisational skills and a commitment to collaborative working across organisational boundaries.
This post is a homeworking contract. Whilst most work will be undertaken during office hours, some evening/weekend work and occasional travel within the South East locality, to Milton Keynes and other OU office locations may be required. Please note that it is expected that the post holder will live in the South East locality area, which encompasses London.
