An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Deputy Director to join the Senior Management Team of the St Helens and Knowsley Health Informatics Service (HIS). The HIS is a shared service that provides Informatics services to a number of organisations in the Merseyside and Cheshire area and has a proven track record in delivering high quality ICT services and Information systems to the full range of NHS providers and commissioners.
Reporting into the Director of Informatics, this role will be responsible for providing expert advice, strategic direction, and change management, to ensure delivery of the service and technologies, to maximise benefits to clinicians and patients.
To succeed, you will need strong technical, operational, change and relationship management skills. You will have experience of working at a senior level, with demonstrable management experience, and have a good understanding of the NHS and Health Informatics.
