An opportunity has arisen for an Administrative Assistant to join the small but busy Occupational Health team within the centre of Cambridge. The Occupational Health Service (OHS) is part of the University Occupational Health and Safety Service and is responsible for the development of occupational health support, compliance and support services for staff and studentships throughout the University and Departments.
The role holder will support the Office Manager to provide comprehensive administrative support to include general typing, data analysis and administration duties, including coordination of specialised statutory occupational health surveillance programmes and student health screening.
Applicants should hold GCSE passes in Mathematics and English (or equivalent) as a minimum, with previous secretarial or administrative experience in a University or NHS setting and the ability to use a range of computer packages including Microsoft Office suite. Applicants must be highly organised, able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and respect medical confidentiality of the service users.
Maternity cover: This post is fixed-term for 14 months or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier.
Salary £22,659 - £26,243 Grade 4.
