Band 3- Patient Services Administrator, AAU
x 3 Part Time posts covering:
21.5 hours per week (Monday & Friday 8am- 4pm, Tuesday 11am-6pm)
22.5 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 8am-4pm)
23 hours per week (Thursday and Friday 10am- 10pm)
The West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust employs almost 4,000 staff providing acute health care services for West Hertfordshire and the surrounding area. The Acute Admissions Unit (AAU) has over 100 beds and hundreds of patients pass through this unit each week.
We require motivated individuals to join a team providing a comprehensive patient reception and administration service to the AAU. You will need good organisation and communication skills along with the ability to work on your own initiative and cope under pressure. You will require a proven clerical background and a good telephone manner is essential. Computer skills are necessary, although full training on the Trust’s Patient Administration System (PAS) will be available.
