About the role
We are seeking an experienced administrator to join our busy business support team covering a broad range of administrative tasks within a variety of Environmental Health & Car Parks services. In this customer facing role you will respond to basic enquiries involving anything from noise complaints and dog fouling to commercial food premise enquiries, dealing with them at first point of contact. You will also be responsible for raising requisitions, ordering goods and service and ensuring our records and systems are accurately maintained, as well as running and interrogating systems reports.
The pattern of work will be full days working either Thursday, Friday and alternate Wednesdays; or Monday, Thursday and alternate Fridays.
You will have excellent customer service skills together with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. As well as the ability to communicate effectively with a range of audiences, both verbally and in writing, you will be highly organised having the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines whilst still communicating effectively with customers and colleagues. Computer literate, you will be used to making use of Microsoft Office applications to aid your organisational and communication skills, and have experience of inputting to, maintaining and reporting on database systems. Driven to achieve deadlines and positive outcomes, you will be open to new ideas whilst being respectful and considerate of others.
