The Community Independence Service has an opportunity for someone wishing to develop their career as an administrator in a unique and dynamic service!
The Community Independence Service (CIS) is led by CNWL and partners. We provide health and social care support to people from Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, and Westminster in their own homes when they are unwell or recovering from illness.
CIS covers all 3 boroughs and within each borough we have the following teams:
- Community Rehabilitation
- Rapid Response
- Home First (Discharge 2 Assess)
- Adult Social Care Rehabilitation
The post is in Kensington & Chelsea based at Kensington Town Hall. We work at bases across the community using mobile working (laptops and dongles).
Successful candidates will have previously worked as an administrator, ideally in the NHS or Social Care, has a high degree of IT literacy, is organised, proactive, is keen to develop themselves and recognises the role of administrators in supporting clinical teams to deliver best patient care.
We value our staff as much as our patients and place a strong focus on the development of our workforce, with comprehensive statutory and mandatory training to support for higher level learning in partnership with local Higher Education Institutions and Health Education England.
CNWL is actively developing an approach to Quality Improvement and working closely with the Institute of Healthcare Improvement as part of a 3-year programme. The post-holder will be able to access training and lead on projects using QI methodology to support and develop the team.
